The Battle of the Nicholas Sparks novel-based movies

As an avid Nicholas Sparks reader, I am usually extremely disappointed by the movie renditions that come about what it is time to make more money. I recently watched both Dear John and The Last Song (which I read, of course) as they came out on DVD. I was thoroughly disappointed with Dear John. I am a fan of Channing Tatum, but I just wish he could break away from the "ghetto-ness" that he seems to portray throughout every single film he has starred in. It worked for Step Up, but it doesn't for Dear John. As for The Last Song, no it did not follow the book entirely but I think it got the main concepts in there and Miley seemed to do a fair job as Ronnie. I was most impressed with Liam as Will, totally as I pictured him in the book.
Overall, The Last Song>Dear John.

Minutes have passed

Wow, it has been quite awhile since I have updated this thing. Many things have changed since February. My room is now purple, I changed my major & minor again (shocker), spontaneously adopted a cat whose name is Jasey Rae in honor of the All Time Low song and I even changed my signature scent. Oh man, I'm such a loser. Not much has changed at all, actually. Just counting the days until I obtain my Bachelor's Degree and move to The City! I really want to start writing and designing more. I feel like I have good/different ideas but I'm not sure if anyone else would give a shit. I guess we'll see. Soooo much love to whoever reads this out there, you're awesome!

Vegan Is As Vegan Does.

There have been many changes in my life within the past month. I am now a self-proclaimed vegan. Well, not really. I've decided to give up all processed foods for Lent, which plays into cleansing my body, mind and soul. This decision has left me with no choice but to practice vegan ways. Honestly, I thought it would be hard as hell, but it's not that bad. I haven't eaten meat in a year though, so maybe that's why? Yes, the no coffee thing kind of kills me everyday, but I've gotten over it. I may stick with this after Lent also because surprisingly, it's cheaper! I mean, I guess it would be, no meat, fish, dairy, coffee or pop. Anyway, if you've been wanting to try a vegan diet, go for it, seriously. Totally worth it.

Man, I love college

Being a college kid has its good days and its bad days. There are a lot of all-nighters, old professors who needed to retire 10 years before you entered their class, and days where you cannot even afford to buy a gumball because you've spent all your money on books. But overall, it's not so bad. I go to school three days a week, I have a lot of access to free alcohol, and I can play Typing Maniac on facebook in class.

It is MUCH better than high school life, where you see the same mindless idiots who insist on making fun of your love for Harry Potter, TODOS LOS DIAS. But, when you go to a commuter university, you see some of those mindless idiots who now want to be-friend you because their mindless idiot friends have gone away to school.

BULLSHIT!

No, I do not wish to be friends with you, or sit next to you in class. Do you remember when you tormented me for 4 years at a God awful place that we call high school?

And no, you don't like Harry Potter, so stop trying to strike up conversations with me because you watched the Harry Potter Marathon on ABC Family over the weekend and you don't want to be alone.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm glad to be out of high school, but I can no longer walk through the cafeteria of my university.
